Every year the Joint Entrance Examination (Joint Entrance Examination - Uttarakhand (JEET) is conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) for students who are applying in various undergraduate engineering courses being offered by universities and other institutes located in Uttarakhand. The application test has comprehensive type multiple choice questions of physics, chemistry, mathematics, amounting 480 marks.
JUET scores constitute the basis not only for the selection of B.Tech and B.Arch students but also the basis for preparing the merit list. Such examinations are done either in April or May each year and the results are released within a month of the examination date. The outcomes are uploaded on the UTU official site on merit-based list of the successful students. The ultimate decision as to which of the engineering schools’ branches and vacancies are designated to the candidates is based on the rank, academic performance, and available seats. Besides being taken by about thirty thousand students yearly, the number of applicants that JUET receives annually is approximately, three and a half thousand.
The proposed date for JUET 2024 admissions is May 2023. However, the exact date of the exam can be either the first or second week of May. The registration process for the exam is done at 3-months aware prior to the date of the exam. Following this declaration, the JUET result 2023 is predicted to be released during the last week of May or first week of June 2023 for proceedings of the counselling to be undertaken. The entire admission procedure gets concluded in June-July, which will allow the next academic sessions commencing by the end of July 2023 for the admission year 2024.

- Hall ticket/admit card: This paper is going to be the foundation for the final test. The hall ticket carries these details such as roll number which have got to do with the checking of the result.
- Registration number/application number: As a part of the application process, students typically receive an examination/application number on the day they submit their admission form. This number also forms a part of report card wherein we require roll number sometimes to check this result.
- Phone number/email ID used for registration: Among other things, some students are prompted to enter the telephone number or email address that was used at registration. This process creates another level of verification which is displayed only after the result is shown.
- Password: As long as the students who have set a password during the registration process are concerned, they may be prompted to enter both the password and the hall ticket number in case they want to check their scores. It is hard for them to keep in touch with the updates if without them.
- Captcha code: Almost every result page will apply captcha verification to authenticate the seeker before divulging information. Students will type the captcha code that has been displayed so they can proceed to the next page and see the consequences.
