The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir board of professional entrance examinations (JKBOPEE) carries out the entrance tests for the admissions into various undergraduate as well as post graduate professional programmes in the Union Territory of J&K. These three major tests conducted by JKBOPEE include the Common Entrance Test (Engineering-CET), the Common Entrance Test (Medical-CET), and Common Entrance Test (MBA-CET). CET-Engineering exam is conducted for admissions to engineering colleges in J&K state, while CET-Medical and CET-MBA exams are conducted for admissions to MBBS and MBA programs respectively.
The JKBOPEE entrance exams is one of the toughest exams and this can be expressed by a surplus of thousands of students appearing every year. Generally, the exam format comprises of multiple-choice objective-type questions that are further separated and set by sections to test students’ aptitude, numeracy, and reasoning skills as well as subject know how. Results of CET exams is given after a month on the JKBOPEE official website - jkbopee.gov.in Students are able to check their results through internet, carrying the roll number of their exam.

Passed 12th class examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Must have studied English as a subject in the 12th class. (50% marks relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
Exam pattern
One-paper exam consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. The exam is divided into four sections: General English, General Awareness, Aptitude for Teaching Profession, and Reasoning.
