The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is the state-level entrance examination conducted annually by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) for admission into various undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture programs offered by universities and colleges located in the state of Jharkhand, India. The JCECE consists of two exams – JCECE Engineering exam for admission into B.Tech/B.E. programs and JCECE Medical exam for admission into B.Pharm and B.Sc Agriculture courses. The exams assess students on subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics.
The JCECE 2024 exam is scheduled for April 22-24, 2023 and the results are expected to be declared in the last week of May 2023 on the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. In 2022, over 54,000 candidates appeared for the JCECE exam out of which 40,679 qualified. The exam dates for JCECE 2024 are yet to be announced but the exams are generally held during April-May every year. Online application process takes place in the month of February and March. The number of participating institutes and seats vary each year for JCECE counselling based on availability.
