Jain Entrance Test (JET) is a national-level examination conducted by Jain Deemed-to-be University. Through this common written test, the university admits the students who have achieved merit to the various UG and PG programmes offered by its constituent colleges located across India. This test, which is administered by computer, evaluates student’s mental ability, aptitude, and their prior knowledge, using multiple-choice options. These are the most popular programs that are taking the marks attained in JET examinations into account, and they include engineering, architecture, and design, sciences, commerce, humanities, law and management.
This year over 1.2 lakhs of students participated in JET, a competitive examination conducted by 175 centers in over 150 cities with the objective of obtaining admission into top programs at Jain Group institutions. Results, usually declared within 2-3 weeks of the test date, are the decisive factor in a successful admission process. For the batch of 2024 admissions, the JET exams are most likely to take place in June next year in an online format which are going to have subjects like physics, chemistry, maths, aptitude and English language.
