The Indian Navy Agniveer exam is particularly the entrance test that is conducted by the Indian Navy with the purpose of selecting Agniveers in different fields. Selected candidates will be appointed under the Agnipath scheme to serve the army for 4 years. The Navy conducts the first Agniveer exam in 2022 as part of the Agnipath recruitment model. The exam contains four categories of questions: English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science as well as Mathematical Aptitude. The exam focuses on the selection of candidates possessing the minimal English language reading comprehension skills, problem-solving abilities, and fundamental concepts of mathematics and science.
For the 2024 exam, the written examination taken in November 2024 had more than 60 thousand candidates. The outcome is likely to be announced sometime in early January 2025 on the Indian Navy’s portal. After the selection process, the candidates will take fitness tests, first training and proceeding to the specialized training. As per the information provided by the Indian Navy, the further examination for the post of Agniveer is expected to be conducted in the month of May 2024 for the enrolment from December 2024. The number of vacancies, exam centers and dates are not yet known and it has been notified by the Indian Navy. The Agniveers will have to take written examination and undergo physical tests and training to know whether they will be retained in service or discharged after 4 years.

2. Download the application form – This is also available from the official Indian Navy website, joinindiannavy.gov.in or wherever the Indian navy recruitment offices make it available as advertised.
3. Fill an application form - Go through all the items of the form and complete all the fields that are required. Each detail should be checked before submitting them to the work.
4. Documents – Hard copies of necessary documents that include photograph, signature, age proof among others, as well as education certificates should be scanned and uploaded appropriately.
5. Application fee – Submit the exam and application fee through any of the Credit/Debit card/Net banking etc as prescribed by the Commission.
6. Application form printout- In this final step, applicants should print and keep copies of the filled application form for future use.
7. Submit physical/completed application form – You can download the application form, and either post it to the address mentioned before the deadline date or you can upload the completed application form online on the official website of the University.
8. Download admit card – This is self-explanatory; admit card can be downloaded from the official website as per the schedule that is prior to the written examination.
