The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) examination is an all-India entry exam conducted annually for admission in the 5-year integrated BS-MS degree program of each one of the seven IISER institutes in India. The low-stake exam is one for the very gifted as the students are put on their bearing in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The exam consists almost always of a 3-hour long paper with 120Multiple Choice questions.

1. You should understand the pattern and types of questions asked in the IISER exam since there are physics, chemistry, maths and biology sections in it. Know about all these topics that are covered, the kind of questions that may ask, scheme of marking, etc.
2. Hash through your lessons from NCERT books – NCERT books are advantageous as they cover all the basic physics, chemistry, math, and biology topics. Give yourself adequate time to read and understand each concept mentioned in NCERT.
3. Solve sample tests - Solve previous years' problems to acquire a feel of the type and difficulty level of questions they can expect. This will at the same help you self-examine your strengths and weaknesses so that you are able to know what you are good at and what you need to improve.
4. Take practice tests - Frequently conducting mock tests is an effective approach, after all. This will be one of the easiest to write an exam and manage time appropriately. It will also test your exam temperament and help you revise all the topics.
5. Keep working on your weaknesses. What areas do you find yourself struggling with? Such topics might include hard to grasp concepts or solving of the questions. Spend a higher portion of time on that information.

8. Create a healthy body and mind - You can do Yoga and meditate as these practices are good for your fitness and maintain good mental and physical wellness with proper sleep, balanced diet, and other healthy habits too.
