IDBI Executive (Industrial Development Bank of India)exam for the post of Asst. Manager, Manager, Deputy General Manager, etc. is conducted by IDBI to fill up executive level positions. Exam continues 3 stages, namely prelims, main and interview. The prelims phase comprises objective type questions assessing the competency in the following areas: arithmetic, reasoning, and English language abilities. Aspirants who pass the preliminary stage can appear in the main exam which is descriptive in nature and covers the questions which are about banking sector. After all the shortlisting attempts, the interview round is the final step.
The IDBI executive examat is never a cakewalk because of the limited openings that are available for the lakhs of aspirants who take the exam annually. The examination dates for the year 2024 are not available. IDBI is yet to release the press statements. Nonetheless, in accordance with preceding years' timeline, the prelims are expected to take place in May 2024 while the mains are likely to occur in June/July 2024. The last merit list besides the profile allotment is announced in 2-3 months after successful completion of the mains exam. At this stage, the chosen applicants go through the training program, and then once appointed they receive leadership positions in several IDBI branches in different roles. The exact date of exam, number of posts and other details will be published in the official website of IDBI bank after a nearer time.
