The ICMR Assistant exam is being held in order to fill the ICMR assistant posts, which are designed to work in various research institutes and centers affiliated to the ICMR. It is one of the many competitive government jobs examinations, which take place in the domain of medical and health care. The ICMR Assistant has a good pay-scale and allowances. The interview is made up of 3 stages: a computer-based test (CBT), skill test and personal interview. The CBT Test includes questions from different areas such as general intelligence and logic, general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, and English language. Candidates are shortlisted for the skill test and interview after the results of CBT are known. Students get into the institution by their scores in the entrance examination and interview being put together in the final list.

The ICMR Assistant 2023 notification of recruitment is imminent in the month of October or November of the year 2023 for the purpose of selecting new entrants. As the CBT dates are required to be in January-February in 2024. A final list that consists of roll numbers of selected candidates with their interview results is declared after 2-3 months of applying and interviews. Candidates chosen are required to go to their assigned institutes and they should only be admitted after being cleared by necessary verification processes before the commencing of the course. The ICMR Assistant 2024 Exam result and selection list is tentatively scheduled for release in April-May of 2024.
