The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a reputed examinations conducting body that organizes the IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) examination annually, to recruit candidates for different specialist officer positions in public sector banks in India. Banking exam like the IBPS SO comprises of online tests and interviews in which the preliminary exam and the main exam are both online examinations. The first stage of the examination is the Preliminary Examination, which has questions related to current affairs, the English language, basic logical reasoning, and basic numeracy and is an MCQ type of examination, where the candidate must score a minimum passing marks to be qualified for the next level. 2. Pay Application Fee: It is possible to pay the application fees online through options such as debit & credit card and internet banking etc. The application fees of general category is Rs. 750/-. There are reduced fee structures for SC / ST / PWD candidates.
