IBPS conducts the IBPS Clerk exam on a yearly basis to recruit clerks for the banking departments of the participating banks. The exam has got two stages that include the preliminary and the main exams. The preliminary exam or qualifying exam, which consists of questions from critical reasoning, English language, numerical ability and general awareness is the first stage of the exam.
