The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2024 is scheduled to be held on May 2024. The exam will be conducted in a single session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The admit card for the exam will be released in the month of May 2024.

The HPCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) for admission to various engineering and technology courses in various government and private colleges in Himachal Pradesh. The exam is open to candidates who have passed the 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• Reach the exam center on time. The exam is expected to start at 9:00 AM, so make sure to reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the start time. This will give you enough time to check in, find your seat, and settle down.
• Bring your admit card and ID proof. Your admit card is the most important document you need to bring on the day of the exam. It will contain all the important information about the exam, such as your name, roll number, exam date and time, and exam center address. You will also need to bring a valid ID proof, such as a passport, Aadhaar card, or driver's license.
• Do not bring any electronic devices or study materials. You are not allowed to bring any electronic devices, such as mobile phones, calculators, or smartwatches, into the exam hall. You are also not allowed to bring any study materials, such as textbooks, notebooks, or loose sheets of paper.
• Follow the instructions of the invigilator. The invigilator will give you instructions on how to proceed with the exam. Make sure to follow their instructions carefully.
• Mark your answers carefully. The answer sheet will be provided by the invigilator. Make sure to mark your answers carefully and accurately.
