The Gujarat NEET counselling is a proceedings taken by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) to provide admissions in the medical and dental courses, both government as well as private colleges of Gujarat. It is a counseling procedure that is done based on the merit list done by each institution whose shortlisted candidates have secured minimum qualifying marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). It is made up of the following activities that is registration, filing of choices, allocation of seats and reporting to the assigned college. Qualified NEET candidates who do not fail to meet the requirements can compete against each other.

Candidates may not know the exact NEET 2024 date as it has not declared yet by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Since in the past it was generally conducted in the month of May, so I am expecting to be this time as well. After processing and declaration of NEET results, the Gujarat State counselling authority will thereon notify the schedule of counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. The counseling process is marked by steps such as registration, filling in and locking the choices, noting available seats and paying for them, and reporting to the respective assigned college. Candidates that are awarded scholarships should come along with the original documents and allotment letter for the admission process. The counselling is slated to be held in June or July 2024, its time period being depending on the NEET results declaration.
