Delhi Police Head Constable exam will be conducted by SSC for filling Head Constable (Ministerial) vacancies in Delhi Police. Similarly, the national level exam is divided into three parts - online complex, physical standards test, and physical efficiency test. The test consists of questions based on the general intelligence, reasoning ability, numeracy, language skills, general knowledge, and fundamentals of computers. Candidates who have secured relevant marks are selected based on the combined marks obtained in the computer-based exam along with the fitness test.
The notification for Delhi Police Head Constable (SSC) 2024 exam will be out in the mid of 2023 through the official SSC portal. The most probably time slot for the computer based examination of this batch would be October-November 2024. We expect the process of selecting candidates and indicating the final result with list of candidates to be completed by the end of 2024 or early 2025 depending on the number of vacancies. The dates of the written test will be available in the notice once it is released officially. Through 2022 examination, 1.89 lakh candidates applied. Out of them, 4,720 have recommended for jobs in Delhi Police under the same recruitment process 2024.
