SSC (Staff Selection Commission) holds the Delhi Police Driver exam, to hire drivers for the positions in the Delhi Police. The exam is written followed by the skill test that checks the candidates’ driving abilities. A written test that has questions related to higher order thinking skills, road safety and riding competence is used to know the candidates. It is only after successfully passing the written test that the shortlisted applicants are invited for the practical driving test where the performance is judged by following the directions along the route and driving around several specified tracks and performing tasks such as reversing, parking etc.

Driving assistant exams conducted by the Delhi Police may take 1-2 months to be announced on their official SSC website. Candidates will check their results by roll number or date of birth. The second screening is done by the officials to verify the documents and the candidate is then sent through the driving test. The last step of the hiring process is as a result of the accumulated marks obtained by candidates in the two exams-the written exam and the driving ability test. 

Currently, there is no announcement for Delhi Police Driver exam dates for SSC 2024. The announcement is often done 1-2 months earlier the date of the examination on the website of the official SSC. The candidates who are interested need to be vigilant as the notification for driver exam will be out soon and they can apply it during this period. The advertisement also mention the number of the vacancies that can be avail by Delhi Police.
