DE-CODE stands for the Delhi Eligibility Entrance To Degree Courses For Open & Distance learning and this test is held by The National Institute of Open Schooling. It is the test through which learners aspiring for admission into the Under Graduate programmes in the ODL system of NIOS sit. The test determines the ability of the student for studying further through open schooling in arts, science as well as commerce streams. The DE-CODE exam is scheduled to be done in early 2024 with the specific dates being provided by the NIOS at the end of 2024.
Aptitude test is in objective type where one have to give multiple choices in subjects like logical reasoning, general awareness, English, Hindi, and the stream one wants to take admission in. As for the result of DE-CODE 2024 exam, it is likely to be released within a month or month and a half after the exam has been conducted. Intake capacity of the seats across programmes offered under this exam also differ year by year and this seat distribution follows the government norms wherever applicable. The exam aims at testing the student’s competence and capacity to undertake undergraduate course under open and distance learning systems before being admitted.
