This entrance test admits candidates to undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by DAVV affiliated colleges. Exam is taken yearly during any month within the mid-year that is either June or July. DAVV CET invites to the candidates who are keen to join undergraduate course, the subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Marks obtained in semester examination serve as the sole points of consideration for post graduate admissions.
The obtainment of DAVV CET results is due in a month from the date of exam. For each program and college, which depends on how they score in the entrance tests, the merit lists are subsequently published. Personal counseling hours are allotted by the DAVV University to those students who have remained the top rankers on the merit list. These students will have to appear in person for document verification and seat allotment.
The exact dates of the DAVV CET exams for 2024 are yet unknown, as the university announces them very late. Although the examination often takes place in June based on the previous year's schedule, it is possible that it will be conducted in June 2020. By July 2024, the output of the work may be released. The interested and eligible candidates can apply online via DAVV’s official website once the notification goes live in the next academic year. Along with the schedule of the examination, the exact exam pattern and syllabus will also be notified in the information handbill that will be given to the candidates in the early 2024.

- 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates: Also, to ease their effort and to check the details in the file.
- ID proof: Analogous documentation to Aadhaar card, driving license, passport etc. as authentic proof of identity.
- DAVV CET application form: The yearling with all the required details filled up and the documents attached.
- Scanned images: A complete set of digital pictures, passport-sized photograph, and signature according to the dimensions specified in the information booklet.
- Category certificate (if applicable): The documents required for SC/ST/OBC-NCL applicants are such as a caste certificate, EWS certificate if applying under that quota and Persons with Disabilities certificate etc.
- Domicile certificate (if required): Enforced at times in the considered insistence of terms stipulated by DAVV.
- Application fee payment proof: Receipt/reference number/screenshot ensures the registration fees received. Among the methods of making payment, online as well as offline methods are available according to the specified payment procedures.
- Entrance exam admit card: An admit card with a photo of the ID card will be generated on the screen. This ID card has to be printed and submitted along with it at the time of the entrance test entrance test.
