CUSAT CAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test) is the university level entrance examination conducted by CUSAT University, Kerala for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate level programs offered by its affiliated colleges and departments. CUSAT CAT aims to select deserving candidates for admission based on their academic merit and aptitude.
The CUSAT CAT exam tests students on their quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and language proficiency through a multiple choice based paper. - CAT 2024 admit card - Candidates will need to carry their original CAT admit card for the counselling process.
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets & certificates - Original mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard or qualifying examination are required to verify academic eligibility.
- Degree certificates (for postgraduate admissions) - For PG admissions, candidates will need to provide copies of their Bachelor's degree certificates and mark sheets at the time of counselling.
- CUSAT CAT scorecard - The original CAT scorecard will need to be produced during the counselling rounds. Rank lists are prepared based on the CAT scores.
- Transfer/Migration certificate - Candidates who have completed their qualifying exam from a board/university other than Kerala state need to furnish their transfer certificate.
- Caste certificate (for reservation categories) - Students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC) need to bring their valid caste certificates issued by competent authority.
- Income certificate (for EWS reservation) - Valid income certificate from appropriate authority to avail reservation under Economically Weaker Sections.
- Medical certificate for PwD candidates - Disability certificate issued from a medical board to avail benefits under the Persons with Disabilities quota.
