CMR University Admission Test

The Combined Medical and RAF Undergraduate Admissions Test (CMRUAT) is the allocated examination that determines the marks of medical students who are admitted to the undergraduate level of studies in the Royal Air Force (RAF) medical schools. It is a multiple choice exam assessing skills like literacy, numeracy, abstract reasoning as well as knowledge of scientific topics relevant to studying medicine or dentistry. The duration of the test is 2 hours and there are 100 multiple questions with 5 sections - literacy and numeracy, abstract reasoning, decision analysis, visual pattern recognition and applied biological and physical sciences. High scores in CMRUAT reflect a candidate's potential to acquire knowledge and apply analytical approaches necessary for medical programs. 

CMRUAT's exam dates for the year 2024 remain undeclared; however, previous years have seen exams run between November and February. The results are published within 4 weeks of the test date on the admissions portal. To be shortlisted for attending the interview and then success in getting admission to the undergraduate medical courses one has to score the cut off minimum percentile set by different Royale air force medical institutions. The exam is perceived to be highly competitive by aspirants.
