Certified managerial accountant Foundation of Uganda otherwise known as CMAFFU examination is a professional certification for accountants and financial managers in Uganda. The lcpa is administered by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and it is meant to certify the competence of professionals in the areas of accounting and finance particular in managerial accounting concepts.
The CMAFFU exam assesses whether candidates can apply their knowledge in areas such as planning and controlling finances, performing analysis, making decisions, managing risks, dealing with investments and following professional ethics as well as using technology. It has multiple choice questions in the above topics and other ones court and practice of law in Uganda.
In order to succeed in the final 2-part CMAFFU exam, answers must show the ability of the participants to employ financial and managerial accounting principles into viable business choices. The results for ICPAU Examinations normally come out between 4-6 weeks after the exam was held. Passing the exam entitles candidates to the designated Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA).
