Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CGPET) is an entrance test organized by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) on behalf of Chhattisgarh for the students opting for the study of BE/Btech degrees in colleges and institutions across Chhattisgarh. The students of CGPET are being examined on their Aptitude in physics, chemistry and mathematics till the level 12. It is a 180 minute long pen-paper while which contains 150 multiple choice questions. According to the procedure, the merit list of CGPET is developed based on students performance in entrance exam. Next the admissions are made in order of meritorious students, availability of seats and choices that fall within students' preferred institutes and branches.
The students were informed by their results in a month after the final test. For CGPET applicants year 2024, the exam is scheduled in May-June 2023. The scheme for the exam according to past years is expected to be the same. That could be within the next four weeks from the exam date.
