CGTET as abbreviated as Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test, it is the entrance examination conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, only for the candidates who are interested in the teaching field. It is also important for the candidate to seek the eligibility required to teach in schools affiliated to CBSE, ICSE along with state education boards in Chhattisgarh.
This examination, known as CGTET, evaluates a would-be teacher on the subject knowledge that he or she intends to teach, ways of teaching, speaking skills, and other attributes. The exam is split into two papers, which are Paper I for the individuals who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and Paper II for candidates interested in teaching classes 6 to 8. The exams assess candidates in Child Psychology, Language I, Language II, Maths/Science/Social Studies methodology.
