The Combined Entrance Examination Test for Admission Postgraduate (CEETA PG) is the common examination which is used for admission into various post graduate courses in and around Odisha. It is conducted for admission to the various universities and colleges mentioned above. The test is taken by the Skill Development and Technical Education Department of the state government and the Odisha Public Service Commission, the latter body being responsible for conducting competitive examinations. The CEETA PG exam is designed to measure the applicants' mastery of following content areas: general aptitude, mental ability, general English and quantitative aptitude to determine their capacity for masters' level study program. The test no becomes a factor in determining candidates who are considered for entry into grad schools that are linked to government universities and universities in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, tech, architecture and management that are autonomous. In 2023, the number of students participating in the CEETAP PG entrance exam exceeded 45,000 and their results got declared in June. The exam will be conducted once again in the May of 2024 for the academic year from 2024 to 2025, with the application process start which will be featured around 3 months prior to the exam. 150 (60 questions in General Aptitude and 90 questions in Engineering Mathematics and Technical Subjects)
Marking Scheme
1 mark for each correct answer, -0.3 marks for each incorrect answer, -0.3 marks for marking more than one option in a question, and 0 marks for unattempted questions
