The state-level competitive entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS and BAMS admission to the medical and dental colleges of the government and the private sector in Bihar state is the Bihar Under Graduate Medical Admission Test (BUMAT) which is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The Tis Hazari exam is one of the most renowned merit-based medical entrance exams in Bihar that has been steadily growing for years, which can be seen in the rising number of students preparing for it in the state.
