The MP Sub Engineer examination is held by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, which goes by the abbreviation Vyapam, for the purpose of selecting potential employees for the position of Sub Engineer at various departments of the government of Madhya Pradesh. The exam is usually in the form of a written examination with two papers namely Paper 1 that covers general awareness, reasoning ability and numeric ability and paper 2 that covers knowledge in civil engineering related areas such as structures, hydrology, irrigation and highway engineering. According to the given exam questions and statements, the level of difficulty is moderate to difficult. 

It is recommended for the online application to occur between October and November for the examination that occurs in January and February of the subsequent year. Based on this pattern, it is predicted that the application timeline in 2024 will likely be similar to what has been outlined above. The results are usually announced within the period of one and a half months from the written examination. After that, the candidates have to go through document verification and have to join in the capacity of Sub Engineers in different organizations such as Public Health Engineering Department, Water Resource Department, and Public Works Department as a part of the state government. The last round is done by adding the scores of the written test and documents submission to determine the final successful candidate.
