The Bihar School Service Commission (BSSC) Assistant Teacher exam is a recruitment examination organized by the BSSC to fill the vacancies of the assistant teacher post in all the Schools of Bihar. Moreover, it is one of the most sought after teaching exams in Bihar in which lakhs of students take every year. The recruitment drive of the BSSC assistant teacher positions is meant for vacancies for subject teachers such as Science, Mathematics, English Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu among others for class one to class five.
The selection process is divided into two stages, the prelims that includes multiple objective type questions to filter out the candidates and the main written exam for the candidates who clear the prelims. As far as the pattern of the examination is concerned it comprises of general awareness, general science, Mathematics Hindi, Pedagogy and Reasoning. While as the notification for the 2024 exam is likely to be out in mid of 2023.
