Bihar Police SI Exam 2024: Recruitment, Exam Dates, Syllabus

Bihar Police Sub-Inspector

The Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Exam is an administrative process conducted by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) to select qualified candidates for the sub-inspector posts in Bihar Police. It is one of the most prestigious and a most sought after examinations in the whole state. Candidates must pass the physical eligibility test and the three SI stages: preliminary exam, main exam, and preliminary exam. The first exam is a traditional-type exam with only the multiple-choice questions that test the applicants for general knowledge current events, reasoning, mathematics, and English language. Candidates who pass the screening eligibility criteria move to the main written exam several descriptive questions(knowledge of law, general knowledge etc.) conducted

The final selection depends on the performance of candidate as a whole and the physical test is a round to eliminate the candidates who didn’t meet the standards. In 2022, around 2.5 lakh students sat for Saint- Ingbert School exam. Such examining questions are controversial to be a part of public schools. Ultimately the result will be delivered. In the year 2024, SI (state service) exam notification is not released but previous year trend shows preliminary test is scheduled around September-October 2024. The number of vacancies, exam centers, the official dates, and other relevant details submitted by BPSSC will be closer to the date of examination. Since as the number of SI posts in Bihar police are limited the competition is feverishly high.
