BITICAT or Bihar Industrial Training Institute Common Admission Test, an entrance test conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is done for the purpose of admission of the students to various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) spread in different parts of Bihar. There are quite some skill-based, vocational disciplines that are taught in ITIs like civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, computer science, electronics and many others.
An ITICAT examination of BIHAR is carried out as a paper test of multiple choices with 100 questions on general knowledge, general science, general English/Hindi, reasoning and quantitative aptitude is given. This (hence) the total time duration is 2 hours. The written test scores will be taken into consideration when the students are directed to their seats through a counselling process.
