The Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET) is a state level competitive examination for the recruitment of teachers for classes I to VIII in any government schools in Bihar for the academic year 2017-18 conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). In 2021, BETET was established, and it replaced the previous qualification exam known as CTET or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for prospective elementary school teachers.
The BETET is an off line test which is based on pencil and paper system and it test the candidates on child development, pedagogy, language ability etc which is essential for teaching the young students. These are: Paper 1 for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Classes 5 to 8 and subjects include Child Psychology, Pedagogy, Maths, Environmental Studies etc.

3. In case the BSEB opens its application portal, you need to create an account with the BSEB. Sign up using your basic and contact information to open a login account.

5. You are required to upload scanned images of photograph and signature as well as other documents as per the prescribed format mentioned in the notification. Ensure that the papers are lucid and authentic.

7. It is always important to preview the teacher application form before the final submission. Perform a final verification of all details one time only.
