The Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Group C examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment of the post of ASI (Executive) in the CAPFs including the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, and the Assam Rifles. The recruitment process includes written test/computer proficiency test, physical standards test, physical efficiency test, medical examination and verification of certificates. It is an MCQ type test that tests important areas of general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and awareness, basic numeracy and English comprehension.
The notification for the ASI CAPFs Group C exam in 2024 will be out in May 2024 on the official SSC Website. The computer-based exam for 2024 batch may take place in July 2024 for the 2024 batch students. In general, the results of the exams and the list of candidates who passed the exams is announced in the final merit list 2-3 months after the exams. After the shortlisting process, the candidates go through further training and are placed in the different force based on merit, preference, and availability of vacancies. Here, the upcoming ASI CAPFs Group C exam to be conducted in 2024 is expected to recruit more than 2000 candidates across the different forces.
