The AAU VET test (Victorian Educational Test) is one of the most critical standardised tests since it is a compulsory for any student who aims at admission into foundation studies, diploma and bachelor degree programmes at numerous universities and colleges across Victoria, Australia. It tests skills in areas like reading, writing, and math. It also scores knowledge on general topics. It is VTAC, which is the main admissions center for tertiary studies in Victoria, that carries out the test. 

The AAU VET exam lasts for 3 hours, and is divided into multiple choice parts for math, critical reading and writing, in English. The results of the AAU test are made available online for students, a few weeks after sitting for it, with their percentile ranking as well. Institutions use test scores, along with prior ranking of the grades and other factors, for admission.

On the 15th of July 2024 there will be the first exam session. This session will be for the students who are planning to enter courses with the beginning in 2025 on early side. Another session will be held on October 7th, 2024. This session will be for mid-year entry to courses beginning in 2025. Checking in usually starts 2-3 months before the test due dates. Students aiming at participating in competitive programs or colleges should be completely prepared in advance by the use of the AAU VET available material and the AAU VET high score will enable them to secure their places.

How to Apply For AAU VET Exam 2024?

1. AAU VET application form can be taken online or from any center of AAU or from some outlets which have been created for the purpose.

2. Fill the VET application form correctly and completely according to stated requirements such as information like your name, phone number, recent qualifications etc.

3. Include required supporting documents with your form like recent passport size photos, age proof or attested marksheets of 10th and 12th, and domicile certificate (if needed).

4. Make deposit of the application fees through the particular mode of payment such as cash deposit, online transfer and so on. The sum of the fee is given in the application form.

5. Make sure that all of the information you enter in the form is accurate, so that the information is not faulty.

6. You shall hand in 4 hard copies of the filled out AAU VET application form to either the AAU office or one of the designated centers by the date specified in the notice. One, just to make sure.

7. The VET admit card will be sent to be sent between 2-3 weeks before the examination day. Make sure to check all details on admit card as misprints could happen.

8. Book the examination center and reach there before timing by yourself. Please keep your admit card and ID proof for verification.

9. Please, be there at AAU VET on scheduled hours of operation. The exam is suitable for people who are better off with the multiple-choice and objective questions.

Documents Required For AAU VET Exam Registration 2024

- Proof of identity - The identification may be in the form of a driver's licence, passport, birth certificate, or other government-issued I.d.

- Secondary school certificates/marksheets - A copy of each of your 10th and 12th standard marksheets and a passing certificate.

- The current requirement - There is a type of requirement in place, that at a particular number of recent passport photos one shall be delivered.

- Application form - An application completed form, with your personal details, exam area, etc.
