Apart from commercial flying, non-commercial flight learning is the primary objective achieved in the residential part of the private pilot's license (PPL) course in India. The learning period of the course is expected to be around 6-8 months duration. It commences with the detailed session of classes which include the principles of flight, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, air regulations, aerodynamics and flight safety aspects. Private Pilot License Eligibility

1. Age - Minimum requirements are 17 years for solo flying and 18 years to get the private pilot license.
