The MSc Aviation programme is a 2-years full-time postgraduate programme, where all the theoretical and practical aspects of safety, management and operations in the air transport sector are covered. Students acquaint themselves with the different areas of airport and airline running and overseeing.

The curriculum consists of subjects like airlines management, airports planning and operations, aviation safety and security, aviation law and regulations, air traffic control and airspace management, crew resource management, airline marketing, aviation finance etc. Among other topics, air traffic control and flight planning, weather forecasting and understanding the aviation meteorology, aircraft maintenance including avionics, flight dispatch, and ground handling operations are also included in the study of the students.

Master of Science [M.Sc] (Aviation) Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree from any stream having minimum of 50% marks from recognized university level. Science graduates are preferred.

2. Not only finishing but also final year bachelor's exam appearing candidates can also apply. The status of their admission will be tentative till then they submit their final marksheet though.

3. College entrance age hardly ever affects the admissions in most colleges. 

4. The eligibility criteria vary, although candidates must sit for an entrance examination together with a personal interview that takes place with the school. A common aviation entrance exam tends to be the UGAT or IGRUA exam. 

5. In fact, physical fitness plays a crucial role in that exercise is considered one of the dimensions of personal health. GATE Aerospace Engineering (AE): The test is focused on core aerospace engineering fundamentals like aircraft structure, propulsion, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics that are core to MSc Aviation programs.

IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for MSc): Forms an appropriate subset, which implements the principles of math, physics, and chemistry to measure candidates’ analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

University-specific Entrance Exams: Universities that offer the MSc Aviation program might have their own entrance test including interaction mechanics, management, security, navigation, and operation.
