The MSc in Game Design and Development study is a 2 years full time-postgraduate course and concentrates on providing students all the skills needed for building a career in the game development industry. The curriculum tends to an academic part of the course with game design, production, programming, visual arts, animation and AI as well as a practical part with sound design and project management. 

Through the development of game design concepts, methods, and acquaintance with game genres, its mechanics, narratives, aesthetics and tools, students are introduced to the entire development of the game. M.Sc Game Design And Development Admission Process

1. To have a first degree in any of computer science, programming, design or arts is a huge advantage. In this respect game development is not always a matter of experience, there are situations when particular skills are not necessary.

2. Whether you are GPA, English proficiency scores, or recommendation letters concerned be aware of the application deadline that differ from each university.  

3. If you need to write a purpose statement, show your admiration of the game and development fields and give an example from your personal experience. You need to give more attention to the programs, internship, or skills you commanded.

4. Send the college transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, portfolio (if available), resume and all the demanded documents along with the admission application before the deadline.

5. Being so, when your application is accepted you may be granted an interview where you will need to show your background and describe your interests. An interview is not necessarily a must-have. 

6. Once the acceptance is given, make sure you will complete the enrollment fees, visa processing (for the only students), and finally you will start your program per the university's instruction.

M.Sc Game Design And Development Eligibility

1. A graduate or student with a bachelor’s degree of any discipline, with at least 50% marks, is a requirement. A lot of those in those courses like mathematics, computer science or multimedia, animation, graphic design etc are chased.

2. In depth and thorough knowledge and interest at least in three out of these fields in gaming, programming, art & design is a must requirement. Having some experience in building mods or games would be considered a plus.

3. In particular, designing the play mechanics and writing the code require analytic, technical and creative skills for making the art assets. 

4. An essence of efficient communication and good collaboration with team members such as artists, programmers and etc. are essential in creating a game dev team.

5. All important for designers are mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills to create a logical system, game mechanics and a balance of complex systems.

6. Along with English, English language skills are essential as all programs and game material is in English. The student's IELTS /TOEFL scores may be required for the overseas students.
