The MBA in best suitable for those, who looking for a long-term practical education in the field of management with emphasis on the hospitality industry. This is a 2-year postgraduate management program. It enables students to attain expertise in the dimension of hotel and travel operations plus business capacity to occupy managerial roles in the expanding hotel, travel, and tourism.

Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Hospitality) Admission Process

2. The area I have expertise in is in resort management with over 5 years of successfully implementing resort management standards and getting high customer satisfaction scores. 

3. My mission is to acquire leadership and revenue optimization skills sufficient for me to work as CCO at a top hotel brand which is internationally renowned.

5. However, once I get through with school, I intend joining a multi-national company that works in the hospitality sector to shape richness of guest experience worldwide.

Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Hospitality) Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree: You must possess a bachelor's degree in any given discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks. The stream of study doesn't matter, either commerce, arts, science, or any other.

2. Entrance test: Many universities have an entrance requirement of clearing the section cut-offs in Common Admission Test or other abbreviated entrance tests like MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA or even state level admission tests. 

3. Work experience: To be eligible most careers in hospitality students need have at least 2-3 years work experience in the industry . Of course, newly graduated individuals can apply some still.

4. English proficiency scores: In case you have been graduated from a non-English-speaking country and pursue admission into a college or university, you may also need TOEFL/IELTS scores to showcase your proficiency in the English language.

MBA Hospitality Entrance Exams

GMAT: GMAT is the measure of analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading proficiency skills. It is a commonly asked for the function requirement for many MBA programs, including hospitality management.

GRE: The Graduate Record Examination measures the skills such as a verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking, which will help to enter the grad school. Some business schools are also beginning to take the Graduate Recording Examination (GRE) exam score in place of the GMAT.

TOEFL: The Test to Assess English as a Second Language serves to evaluate English proficiency for non-native speakers. For non-native English speaking students, IELTS or TOEFL as a language proficiency test are required to apply in MBA programs outside their home countries, especially in countries where English is not the first language.

IELTS: The International English Language Testing System checks the proficiency of non-native speakers of the English language. TOEFL is analogous to “MBA” programs, too, where the applicants are often foreign candidates.
