Air Travel Management MBA is 2-year full-time post graduation management course which provides career opportunities in this field. Instituted by the DGCA approved institutes, the module offers specialized knowledge and skills aspects of: airline operations, airport operations, aviation safety and regulations, passenger services and cargo handling, aviation marketing and finance.

1. Educationally, I should possess a bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 50% aggregate marks from a university of repute.
2. Candidates with Bachelor/Bachelor of Hotel Management/ Aviation qualification after 12th are also eligible.
3. Often there is no absolute age, but many of the institutions have a top limit of 28-30 years.
4. You have to cross National Level Management entrance examination tests like CAT/MAT/XAT or entrance exams of the institute conducted by the institute.
5. The candidates who are keen on arising in the field with the minimum 2-3 years job experience in aviation, airlines, airport services may have preference for this position.
6. All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university/institute responsible for the program. The requirements that include the educational foundations, entrance tests, experience, etc, must be met. In addition, they interview one-on-one to determine the qualifications of the students.
CAT: Common Admission Test one of the most accepted test at national level for MBA admissions among various institutes and including Air Travel Management course as well. Examine the candidates by the extent of their skills in quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning.
XAT: The two-hour general aptitude test, Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. Evaluates students on their performance in critical decision making, verbal eloquence, quantitative capabilities and also some general knowledge for the purposes of admissions into Air Travel Management MBA programs.
MAT: Management Aptitude Test, also known as MAT, a national-level examination provided by All India Management Association or AIMA.
