1. Complete a bachelor's degree in any major from an accredited higher educational institution with a grade point of at least 3.0. Usually the most chosen disciplines for the MBA accounting students are accounting, finance, economics, management, and mathematics.
2. Take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and score the competitive. Remark: I have changed the word ‘competitively’ to ‘competitive’ in order to maintain consistency with the tone of the sentence. A typical applicant will have the kind of GMAT score which is around 720 on the scale of 800 for the top rated MBA programs.
3. Obtain a good undergraduate grade point scores (GPA) with a 3.5 or above, on a 4-point scale. That is the sign to consider yourself fit for taking a graduate course since it is a high level of academic standard.
4. Seek experience in a work environment as an accountant, financial analyst, or any other related field. Top acceptable programs usually have 2-6 or even more years of work experience.
5. Reach the final goal in preparing your business school application which will include the necessary tests, transcripts, letters of recommendation, essays, and an interview (if required).
6. Present outstanding interpersonal, communication, analytical, and management capacities through the whole application process. These MBA admissions committees are rather attentive to soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication ability while choosing applicants.
