1. Higher Secondary Education completed in any stream from any recognized board. 

2. Only those students who have secured 50% marks in 10+2 examination are eligible for admission in the college for general category students. They both are eligible for scholarship in which 45% scholarship is offered for reserved category students.

3. There is no restriction for the age limit which is required to take admission in diploma in home science course.

4. This course is open for both the girls and boys after the completion of the 10 + 2 level of education.

5. As for as the eligibility of the students is concerned, students from any discipline such as science, commerce or humanities can opt for this course.  

6. The primary and foremost criterion is mere passing of 10+2 examination with requisite percentage of marks depending on the category of reservation.

1. CET- Delhi also known as Common Entrance Test for getting admitted into diploma courses comprising of Home Science. 

2. Commonly known Assam CEE- Common Entrance Examination to admit the students in the diploma courses conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University.

3. Odisha DET: Odisha State Board holds entrance test for diploma courses for taking admission in state colleges

4. MP PPT – it is an abbreviation for Madhya Pradesh Pre Polytechnic Test which is conducted for taking admission into diploma courses in the state of Madhya Pradesh. 

5. DCECE- Diploma Course Entrance Competitive Examination Board, JCECEB: Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board

1. Check eligibility – one must passed 10+2 from any stream with minimum 50% marks.

2. To apply for the course simply fill the online admission form or submit hard copy before the admission deadline along with the documents mentioned below.

3. Take entrance examination if there is any, or admission is offered depending on the scores in 10+2 examination.
