Our Fashion Designing Programme has a duration of 1-2 years in which the student is provided with a complete fashion design knowledge along with practical training. Students are specified subjects, such as sewing, pattern making, draping, illustrations, textiles, apparel production, and CAD software, also they are instructed on trends in the fashion industry.
The plan involves schedule the subjects which are compulsory, including garment construction, design of patterns and draping, drawing in fashion, history of fashion, textile science, computerized design, and Indian native textiles. 1. Eligibility – Minimum aggregate marks of 50 % in class 12th in any discipline. Preparing 12th class appearing students to undergo the same process can also be undertaken.
2. Admission Procedures - The process of enrollment is conducted through the examination pinpointed by the institution. The test is a broad concept examining various brain capabilities, such as logical reasoning, resourcefulness and problem-solving. Ourselves, through shortlist, conduct interviews with them. List of chosen candidates are created using the marks of written test and interview.
3. Documents - 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, entrance exam admit card, passport photos, ID proof, address proof. The recommendation letters, and design portfolio also promote the students.
4. Course Duration – Fashion Design Diploma Course takes 3 years long and has 6 semesters. Practices, ranging from design software training, to making patterns, sewing garments, along with theory subjects on fashion studies, trending topics, textiles etc are included in the curriculum.
5. Fee structure-fees start from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 3 lakhs based on the institute. One more important factor that needs to be considered is the cost of the material kit, uniform, excursion, and so forth. Scholarships offered to successful candidates.
1. Educational Qualification: Selection will be done on the basis of passing 10+2 from any stream by a recognized board with a minimum mark score of 45% marks and above.
2. Age Limit: There is no definition of age on which the early or late enrollment in a fashion design diploma course depends. Eligibility for candidates is open to all age categories.
3. Entrance Test: Most colleges those offers this course do not examine their students before enrollment. Selection of students is purely merit-based by taking into consideration class 12th results.
4. Personal Interview: While students might be done with their verification round, the interview panel would want to know why candidates are interested in fashion design and what are their aptitude towards it.
