A one-year accountancy and finance credit diploma that affords students access to certificate and diploma programs in related fields. This course is designed to acquaint students with the accounting principles, ideas, and practices at an intermediate level. Through the course program, we deal with important accounting topics like the double entry system, the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, management accounting, as well as tools like TALLY. 

The diploma program is a couple of semesters (at least a couple of semesters) long, on each of which 5-6 subjects are taught. Diploma in Accounting Admission 2024

1. Ensure you fulfil the prerequisites including 10 + 2 in commercial stream with minimum required mark. The most important point in this context is to beat the cut-off percentage set by colleges.

2. Select a college to attend that is trusted to offer the accounting certificate option and review its admission details and deadlines. Select 3 to 5 colleges that matches your desire.  

3. Submit the admission application form either offline or online by giving your personal, academic records and all the relevant information that is required before the set deadline. 

4. Send 10+2 certificates, mark sheets, and other documents with the application as well as forms. The fees should also be paid, where applicable.

5. If you one of those selected candidates, make the process of either attending the counseling session or the admission round specifics, at the exact date and time as notified by colleges. 

6. After being chosen, after that, it is expected that time be remitted for completion of admission formalities like paying hospital bills and joining the program on a given day.

Diploma in Computerised Accounting [DIC] Eligibility

1. Educational Qualification: It is mandatory to show that you are a holder of a certificate of clearing 10+2 or a recognized equivalent examination from any stream obtained from a recognized board as a prerequisite to admission of the diploma in accounting course.

2. Minimum Marks Requirement: Most colleges and universities make the threshold as high as 50% in class XII in general to be eligible for admission into their diploma in accounting program. 

3. Subject Preference: If pursuing the commerce or the commerce/economics stream in the 10+2 stage, it will be beneficial to a student in understanding the accounting concepts as these are not compulsory. 

4. Age Limit: The minimum/maximum age limits as a criterion for the studying of accounting diploma are not usually predetermined. Both fresh 10+2 school pass outs and experienced professionals can benefit from this program.

5. Entrance Test: Other colleges may be testing students for entrance purposes by using their own tests that evaluate numeracy, problem-solving capability etc. 

6. Personal Interview: Along with academic grades, other forms of evaluation such as how you communicate, your personality traits, interests and other factors that determine who you are might be considered in a personal interview between the institution and the applicants.
