The DBA (Diploma in Business Administration) is a college-level diploma course involving business management and administration. Mostly it is one-yearlong full-time program or equivalent two-years part-time. The required eligibility criteria for the admissions is 10+2 either of any stream. Some of the other institutes too might require a minimum of 50% average in 11+2.

The DBA course covers the basics of business administration which include the principles of management, organizational behavior, fundamentals of accounting, business communication, introduction to economics, entrepreneurship development, use of computer applications, and environmental studies. certain institutions, as a choice, may offer specialization in the second year such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Logistics, etc.

Diploma in Business Administration Admission Process

1. Eligible candidates are required to possess a minimum qualification of 10+2 pass in any stream from a recognized board. 

2. There would be no age-related limitations. A number of colleges put the upper age limit to 26-28.

3. Enrollment is 85% through merit, and 15% merit is based on the results of qualifying exams or institute-level screen test. 

4. Applications and prospectus can be download from the institute websites or can be availed physically from institute offices.

5. The required documents include 12th board pass certificate, school leaving certificate, Aadhar card coupled with address proof.

Diploma in Business Administration Eligibility

1. Interested candidates should have cleared 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. Students who passed 10th examination and then legitimately have work experience are also eligible for this.

2. For example, some institutes might require students to pass 10+2 exams with a minimum percentage of 45-50%. 

3. As far as we understand, there is no age restriction for taking admission to this program. This course can be  taken up by anyone, regardless of their age group.

4. 10+2 students also have advantage of getting into the programs. These will only receive a conditional admission unless they send the passing certificate within the given period. 

5. The students may be subjected to the entrance tests from some of the colleges as a criterion for admission to this course. Students are required to pass that test or interview at all cost. 

6. This is where some of the universities pay extra attention through the additional rounds of interviews or tests, otherwise, such candidates would not be accepted to obtain a bachelor's degree.

7. International students must complete prerequisite requirements set by the college according to the admission criteria for international students. The other one is that this English language should be met too.

8. Reservations in (SC/ST/OBC) students can be recognized in the admission criteria set by the government. Certifications are one of the point that they need to made.

Diploma in Business Administration Entrance Exams

SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test): Evaluates the critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and written communication skills.

ACT (American College Testing): Measures English, math, reading, science, and writing competencies.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Serves as a test of English language proficiency for non-native speakers.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Establish English proficiency test for purpose of academics.

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test): Evaluates analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative, and verbal skills competencies for business course programs.
