The Certificate in Maritime Catering is a short course in catering for ships and marine vessels. This course deals with catering and hospitality services on cruise liners, cargo ship and other marine vessels. In general, course lasts 4-6 months and produces a student with both theoretical knowledge and the practical experience, that he can make good use of in cooking the food, baking, food production, food safety, nutrition, menu planning, and housekeeping. 

Students are taught brief food science, specific cuisines, ship’s kitchen tools, Practicing Ship’s communication in any maritime communication, first aid, and safety and security measure at seas. Student will be provided with an educational plan dedicated to all the difficulties of catering thousands of people on board of the ship with scarce resources.
