Our Certification in Food & Beverage Service is an intensive course, lasting for a short time, specifically designed to help in acquiring unique knowledge of food and beverage operations in the hospitality sector. The course duration is typically 3-6 months and includes both theoretical lectures as well as practical training. 

The curriculum goes through a vast field of subjects by tackling issues such as food production basics, restaurant and beverage service methods, restaurant operations management, customer service principles, bar operations management, inventory management, banquet, and event management to name a few. Students learn to perform tasks such as greeting and serving customers, taking food and drinks orders, presenting and recommending menu items, preparing tables, managing customer payments, and maintaining highest standards of restaurant sanitation and safety.

1. I have 4 years of experience working in various restaurants as a server and bartender. By giving good customer service, I was able to improve my skills further and now I would like to spread my horizons more by doing the certificate program in food and beverages. 

2. One aspect that interests me is learning proper food and drink preparation, plating techniques, and understanding pairing recommendations. As I acquire this knowledge I will be able to quickly identify their problems and help them make the best choice.  

3. Another key area I hope to develop is management skills such as inventory procedures, staff scheduling, and implementing service standards. Having ability in these areas will readiness me for advancement into managerial positions of more responsibilities with additional tasks to manage.

4. Completing this certificate will equip me with well-rounded capabilities spanning front and back-of-house functions. I have a strong interest in the hospitality sector and furthering my career.
