The (BVoc Software Development) is a 3-year undergraduate level course comprising of industrial curriculum, which aims at producing a skilled software developer. The BVoc structure facilitates students could they attain industry-relevant competencies and depth of necessary academic inputs. Course-based domains including programming languages (Java, Python, C++ and so on), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and so on), databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle), software testing, and project management are discussed in the course design.
Students are also given an opportunity to design and develop multifunctional software applications covering a wide range of areas. Practical experience becomes more real and feasible through internship and other cross-functional training. Electives make room for branching out into different sub-discipline fields such as mobile app development, game development, cloud computing and so on within the core of the coursework. It is based on the credit system, and lateral entry for the second year is open for students with diploma in the field of Computer/IT sciences.
