BCom Banking and Insurance major is a 3 years undergrad program that gives students in depth knowledge regarding the banking and insurance industries. The curriculum in this major focuses on the known academic areas like finance management, economics, banking, and other specializations.
The course covers most of the major subjects of banking which include banking fundamentals, banking law and practice, banking theory, insurance law and principle, non-life and life insurance, financial institutions and their roles and so on. The plan imparts students with useful abilities such as examine financial statements, risk management, grasping regulatory policies, selling of insurance premia, etc.

PU CET (Punjab University Common Entrance Test): Included Economics, Mathematics, Banking Awareness sections that tested students for B.Com Banking & Insurance courses at Punjab University.
AMU Entrance Exam (Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam): Marks the competence of a candidate in subjects such as Economics, Mathematics, and English, determining the entry eligibility for the BCom Banking and Insurance programs at AMU.
