Business Administration or BBA refers to a three or four year degree program that gives students an initial understanding on how businesses and enterprises are formed and managed. BBA (Cyber Security) is a BBA course that deals with topics like Network Security, Information Security, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Law, etc. This course is designed in such a way to build up cyber security professionals in students. This course is of 3 years duration consisting of 6 semesters. It consists of basic business disciplines such as finance and marketing, and additional focus on the various aspects of cyber security such as the network attacks, malware, cryptography, risk mitigation, and auditing of information systems.

For admission in BBA (Cyber Security), the candidate must pass out class 12 from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% of the marks. Some of the entrance tests for the admissions to the colleges and universities offering this course are SET/SLAT/SITEEE, MITSDET, UPESDAT, BHU UET, CUET. Students can get admission in these colleges and universities through their 10+2 scores or through entrance exam scores or both depending on the admission policy of the college. Candidates who passed class XII in commerce as well as science stream are eligible for this unique BBA degree programme that offers specialisation in cyber security.

1. Students must have passed the 10+2 exam in any stream Science, Commerce, Arts with 50% marks from a recognized board. 

2. For the Commerce/Arts background students, minimum passing marks in Mathematics in 10+2 examination is required.  

3. There were no maximum age requirement for admission to the college. It means that both the students who entered the university directly and those students who took the year off may apply.  

4. Contrary to this, many of the colleges do not require the candidate to pass this entrance examination as a requirement for admission. Admission open against the Merit list of 10+2 examination in respective stream.

5. Computer literacy and prior experience in IT shall be advantageous. Relevant internship experience may also be useful Occupational experience also plays an important role in the selection process.

6. It would be desirable if the candidate has good logical aptitude and strong interest in the coding/software development to go through this program.

BBA Cyber Security Entrance Exams

1. UGAT – University General Admission Test – Bennett University where students sit for to be admitted to the BBA programmes including Cyber Security. 

2. UPSEE – Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is the standardized test which measures the qualification of candidates on the basis of their aptitude to join engineering and management courses in Uttar Pradesh colleges.

3. GGSIPU CET: BBA admission test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA courses.

4. BHU UET – The entrance examination that is conducted for getting admissions to undergraduate programmes in Banaras Hindu University like BBA and more.

5. DU JAT – Delhi University Joint Admission Test for BBA and other courses offered by the University of Delhi college and other colleges.
