A duration of 5-years and the degree name Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) in Building Construction Technology, a full-time undergraduate course is designed to train the principles and the actual process of building design and construction. 

Transformed curriculum covers these aspects such as building materials, construction techniques, structural systems, building services, quantity surveying, specifications writing, CAD, planning and architecture law. The students get the chance to explore different ways of building structures utilizing materials such as bricks, stones, metals, concrete, glass, plastics and composites, among others.

Step Description

Bachelor of Architecture [B.Arch] (Building Construction Technology) Eligibility

1. HSEB or equivalent examination with minimum 200 marks in Mathematics as a pre-requisite.

2. The aggregate marks requirement is kept at 50 and 55% or equivalent grades up to 10+2.

3. Qualifying entrance examination - Aspirants need to clear either of the two, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture or Architecture Aptitude Test in Joint Council for Aptitude Test in Architecture (JEE) Paper2

4. Some colleges will aslo take the scores of other design entrance tests to allow students admission.

5. An application in the form of a portfolio or an interview, depending on the college/university, would be incorporated into the admission process. 

6. Candidate who are having Diploma qualification (3 year diploma curriculum) approved by the Central/State Government with the minimum aggregate marks of 50% shall also be considered.
