The ANM course is a two-year diploma program in India that trains the students to deliver low-level nursing care and midwifery services, mainly in the remote regions of our country. The program has basic topics in nursing, midwifery, maternal and child health, community health services, pharmacology, laboratory techniques and more.
Students study and learn both in class, interspersed with, hands-on experience in labor room, operation theatre, urban and rural healthcare centers to gain practical knowledge. The course term typically between 24-30 months that consist of: attending classroom sessions, practical training, working in internship programs and finally passing the external examinations.

1. Education Qualification
You will need to have passed 10+2 with science subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology from the board that is recognized in order to be attain the ALLM.
2. Age Limit
Age related criteria are 17 years minimum and 35 years maximum as of August 31st to the admission year. For the forward classes also, there is a relaxation in age limits.
3. Application Form
The first step is to learn about the admission criteria. Then, you need to fill out the ANM application form physically or online before the due date.
4. Entrance Exam
Certain regions will receive an exit test to determine whether ANM candidates can be admitted. You have to conduct an exam by which you have to surpass any cut-off marks which is a must.
5. Document Verification
Documents verification and original documents confirm is next thing to do if you are confirmed via entrance test or qualifying list.
6. Medical Checkup
A medical fitness test would have to be conducted to evaluate the prerequisite fitness requirements for the program you are interested in.
7. Counseling
If you have completed all the above steps, then you will be eligible to appear for the final counseling process for proper seat allotment and admission.
8. Admission Confirmation
In order to confirm your admission, you will pay for the program fee right after you get your seat in the counseling round.

Bihar ANM Entrance Exam: Covers biology, chemistry, physics and general knowledge as a platform to evaluate nurses' grasp of scientific paradigms and nursing theory.
