Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. Programs:

• A Master's degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
• A valid GATE score or any other relevant national or international test score (if applicable)
• A strong research proposal outlining the proposed research topic and methodology

M.Sc. Programs:

• A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
• A valid JAM score or any other relevant national or international test score (if applicable)

Application Process:

1. Submit an online application form: The application form can be accessed on the IBSD website.

2. Attach required documents:

   • Attested copies of academic transcripts and mark sheets
   • Copies of GATE or other test scorecards (if applicable)
   • Research proposal (for Ph.D. applicants)
   • Two recommendation letters from academic supervisors or employers
   • Copy of caste certificate (if applicable)
   • Copy of domicile certificate (if applicable)

3. Pay the application fee:

   • Ph.D.: Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates
   • M.Sc.: Rs. 350/- for General Category and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting: Based on the application documents, a shortlist of candidates will be prepared.

2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

3. Admission: The final selection will be made after the interview. Selected candidates will be issued an offer of admission.
