B.Y.K. Sinnar College of Commerce Nashik was established in 1972 and it is imparting education through various undergraduate programs like B.Com, B.M.S, B.C.A, B.M.M, B.B.A, B.C.S etc in commerce, management, computer applications, mass media, banking and insurance stream. The B.Com course has merit-based admission in which students are chosen on the basis of their performances in the HSC examinations. The BBA, BCA, BMM, and BBI courses have management seats and are offered on merit based on CET/ATMA/any other equivalent state/national Level entrance test. The B.Com is made available if the candidate has passed their HSC exams with 45% for open category students. For reserved category it is 40% So, according to the criteria laid by the Government of India for admission in engineering colleges, a candidate from the reserved category can get admission in college if he secures 40% marks in his 10+2 examination and, in case of SC/ST candidate, the percentage of marks in the entrance examination will be 35% and the candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination. To take admission in BBA, any candidate must pass HSC and cleared CET exam also CET cut off has been set every year for BBA. Similar conditions are also followed in BCA, BMM and BBI entrance through CET exam with minimum marks. 

Some of the main courses provided across the stream are B.Com, B.Com (Accounting & Finance), BBA (Banking & Insurance), B.Sc (Computer Science), BMM (Mass Media), BCA (Computer Applications) and B.Sc (Actuarial Science).

BYK Nashik UG Admission 2024

The undergraduate (UG) programs offered by the B.Y.K. Sinnar College of Commerce in Nashik include the following programs in the various departments. The eligibility criteria to join the B.Com program in this university are passing HSC exam in any stream with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. HSC, CBSE, ICSE, Diploma are permitted to write qualifying examinations. The Management department’s BBA program has certain pass requirements for the HSC examination in any stream, which are 50% marks. The accepted exams are the same as in B.Com., and therefore, it will be possible to produce skilled and knowledgeable graduates in the chosen field. The Economics department offered BA Economics, The requirement for this course is that the candidates must pass HSC in any stream with minimum 45% marks. Allowed standards or examination for entry are HSC, CBSE, ICSE. The Biotechnology department offers B.Sc Biotechnology course where there is need to pass the HSC Science stream with physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics subjects with at least an average of 50% marks. Some of the accepted entry level tests are the HSC, CBSE and ICSE.
