The Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes (SVGOI) conducts its own entrance test (SVGOI Entrance Test) for admission to the B.Tech programs. The SVGOI Entrance Test is a computer-based test that is conducted once a year, in May-June.

The SVGOI Entrance Test consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test is divided into two parts: Part I consists of 100 questions from Physics and Chemistry, and Part II consists of 100 questions from Mathematics.
